This Privacy Policy explains what information ChatCooker ("we", "us", "our") collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. By creating an account or using our browser extension and website, you agree to the practices described here.

Information we collect

• Account information. Your name, email address and password (stored securely and hashed). If you sign in with Google, we receive your basic Google profile (name, email, avatar).
• Profile details you add. Optional information such as company name, designation, phone and address that you choose to save.
• Memories you create. The facts you add for the AI to use (for example prices or opening hours). These are stored so your replies can use them.
• Usage data. Anonymous counts of how many replies you generate, used only to enforce your daily limit and to improve the service.
• Payment records. When you upgrade, we store the plan, amount, method and status of the request. Card details are handled by the payment provider, not stored by us.

What we do NOT store

We do not store the contents of your conversations. When you generate a reply, the relevant message context is sent to the AI provider to produce a response and is not retained by us afterwards.

How we use your information

• To provide, maintain and improve ChatCooker.
• To enforce plan limits and prevent abuse.
• To process upgrades and keep a billing history for your account.
• To send important account, security and support emails.
• To show your review on our website — only if you choose to submit one.

Sharing your information

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with the service providers needed to run ChatCooker — such as AI model providers (to generate replies), our email provider and our payment provider — and only to the extent required to deliver the service, or where required by law.

Data retention

We keep your account information for as long as your account is active. You can ask us to delete your account and associated data at any time by contacting support.

Security

We use industry-standard measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit and hashed passwords. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, but we work hard to protect your information.

Your choices

You can view and edit your profile, manage your Memories, and delete your account at any time. To exercise any privacy right, contact us through the Contact page.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected here with an updated date. Continued use of ChatCooker after changes means you accept the revised policy.
